To promote animal welfare and alleviate unneccesary suffering through education and direct intervention and support
Objective of the Branch
To be an active force in achieving responsible pet ownership and responsible attitudes to all animals. 

Aims of the Branch

  1. Provide licensable facilities in which to care for animals brought to the centre.
  2. Re-home (or return to the wild) and re-habilitate, where possible, animals brought to the centre.
  3. Educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership.

Management

The Branch Manager, Mrs L Smith controls the daily operations of the Branch. The Management Committee (Trustees) meet on a monthly basis to oversee the activities of the Branch; to deal with any significant issues that have arisen; to set policies; and to review the financial position.

Sub-committees have been established to deal with finance; fundraising and shops; staff development and the re-development of the animal centre. All decisions of the sub-committees are subject to ratification of the full Management Committee.
