Birstall Charity Shop

About us:

Birstall Charity Shop was set up by Woodside Animal Centre as a means of generating more income for the centre. All proceeds made from the shop help to fund the centre and all of the animals we care for.

There is always a bargain to be found at Birstall. Stock is replenished constantly so every week you’ll see new items and fresh displays. At Birstall we pride ourselves on our volunteers and raising funds for a much-needed cause.

Our team:

Birstall Charity Shop may be managed by Richard, but it’s definitely ran by the volunteers! We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to volunteer with us. Pop in and speak to the manager for an application then spend an hour with us and see if it’s for you. We hope to see you soon!

Make a donation:

To make a donation to one of our charity shops, please call ahead and book a suitable time slot. This is to ensure we follow Covid-19 guidelines and to help keep our team and community safe.

To book a donation drop-off time slot, please call us on 0116 267 2242. Alternatively, you can call our animal centre reception team on 0116 233 6677, to arrange a collection if you have a substantial amount of goods.
