Donate To The Leicester Woodside RSPCA

Woodside Animal Centre is the Leicestershire Branch of the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). We promote animal welfare and alleviate unnecessary suffering to the animals of Leicestershire by taking in stray and unwanted animals including animal victims of cruelty. We also aid in the recovery and return of injured wildlife to their habitats.

Approximately 3,500 animals are cared for each year at a cost of £14,000 per week. We are completely self-funded and receive no money from the government, National Lottery or our National Society. Our only income comes from the generosity and support of the people of Leicestershire, to whom we are eternally grateful.

About Safe Haven

Woodside Animal Centre is one of the RSPCA's busiest Branch animal centres and cares for around 3,500 animals each year.  For less than the price of a Sunday newspaper every week you can sponsor one of our animal spaces and help us to continue our work for the many animals from the Leicestershire area who spend time in our rehoming centre.

Organising Your Own Fundraising Event

Want to help Woodside Animal Centre raise much needed funds, but not sure how?

FUNDRAISING EVENTS

If you would like to organise an event on our behalf, then we would be very happy to hear from you.
There are lots of things that you can do:-  You may want to organise a raffle, street collection, coffee morning,
garage sale a collection at your work/school - You can be as creative as you wish!

Remember, letting people know about your event is key, talk to your local newspaper/free paper they are always
looking for interesting articles.

If you would like help with collecting tubs, displaying posters/flyers etc please let Steve know.

IMPORTANT - Woodside Animal Centre cannot accept any liability for any fundraising activity you undertake.
Please do not collect money in the street or any public place without first obtaining permission from your local authority.
