Dog Training Classes

Obedience training is an extremely important skill that is essential when it comes to developing human-animal relationships and critical for creating a socially acceptable dog. A dog that doesn’t jump up, sits when asked, and walks calmly on the lead is much more likely to be accepted into society, be more enjoyable for an owner and have a better quality of life.

Woodside Animal Centre offers a range of 8 week training courses, where all ages and skill levels are welcome. We cover topics such as basic commands, recall, vehicle control and lead walking. They’re also a great way to socialise your dog! Our courses aim to provide a means of socialising for puppies, and an opportunity to learn the acceptable way of mixing for adult dogs. The ultimate goal is to achieve a basic level of understanding and training for all owners. Our fully qualified instructors are friendly, approachable and always happy to help.

Upcoming Classes:

The next course will start on Friday 2nd July 2021.
The puppy class will run : 6PM to 7PM
The intermediate class will run : 7:15PM to 8:15PM

All skill levels are welcome, we offer classes for puppies, intermediate and advanced and it’s only £80.00 for a full 8 week course. We ask that only person per dog attends our classes (due to COVID-19 restrictions) and your dog must be fully vaccinated.
