Melton Mowbray Charity Shop

About us:

Melton Mowbray Charity Shop was set up by Woodside Animal Centre as a means of generating more income for the centre. All proceeds made from the shop help to fund the centre and all of the animals we care for.

Our team:

Our little team is led by manager Sue and deputy managers Emma and Joy. We also have a fantastic team of volunteers, some of whom have been with us for over two decades! We rely on our volunteers in order to keep our shops open and running daily, without them we wouldn’t be able to operate as we do. If you have the time to volunteer and want to help out in the Melton shop, feel free to pop in and grab an application. Any amount of time you can dedicate is very much appreciated.

Make a donation:

To make a donation to one of our charity shops, please call ahead and book a suitable time slot. This is to ensure we follow Covid-19 guidelines and to help keep our team and community safe.

To book a donation drop-off time slot, please call us on 01664 565262. Alternatively, you can call our animal centre reception team on 0116 233 6677, to arrange a collection if you have a substantial amount of goods.
