About us:

Wigston Charity Shop was set up by Woodside Animal Centre as a means of generating more income for the centre. All proceeds made from the shop help to fund the centre and all of the animals we care for. Our Wigston Charity Shop focuses on its community and its creativeness. Each month a new window display is artistically created by the team, this can be anything from celebrating Leicester FC winning the premier league, to celebrating remembrance day with an awarding winning display.

Our team:

Shop manager Anne is supported by her deputies and a team of hard-working, dedicated volunteers. They all help to keep the shop running and the community spirit alive. We are currently looking for volunteers, so if you’ve got spare time or want to help out, lend a hand at our Wigston charity shop to support us today!

Make a donation:

To make a donation to one of our charity shops, please call ahead and book a suitable time slot. This is to ensure we follow Covid-19 guidelines and to help keep our team and community safe.

To book a donation drop-off time slot, please call us on 0116 288 0764. Alternatively, you can call our animal centre reception team on 0116 233 6677, to arrange a collection if you have a substantial amount of goods.
